Urvashi Rautela in Workout Gear Says "Thanks a Million"

Urvashi Rautela is running into actors at the gym. In a new social media post the Indian star of JNU, shared a picture with Telugu superstar NTR Jr., gushing over the actor. "@jrntr garu our beloved true #GlobalSuperstar —exceptionally disciplined, honest, and refreshingly straightforward, yet so wonderfully humble. Thanks a million for your kindness and the motivation. Your lion-hearted 🦁 personality is truly admirable. Can't wait to work with you in near future," she captioned the post, showing off her amazing body in exercise clothes. How does the actress approach diet and fitness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Boxing is one of Urvashi's go-to workouts. She often shares her sessions on Instagram. Harvard Health endorses boxing as a great aerobic exercise, because it gets your heart pumping and helps lower the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. "It can strengthen bones and muscles, burn more calories, and lift mood. Aerobics can also boost your endurance, which helps you climb a flight of stairs or walk farther," they explain.

High intensity interval training, a research backed form of fitness, is another one of her favorite workouts. It involves doing a bunch of strength training and cardio in vigorous, quick circuits. Benefits of HIIT workouts include body fat reduction, improved cardiovascular function, and mental health. It is also time effective.

Bōjutsor, or stick fighting, is another workout the actress loves. She has shared a few videos and photos of her practice on Instagram. "Do you want to fight me? Now's the time. Do you want to fight me? Stand in line. Do you want to fight me? Hand to hand. Do you want to fight me? Now's your chance. Let's do this," she captioned a photo.

In the winter you can find Urvashi hitting the slopes on her skis. "Jetted off on my own snowy adventure. Super happy being back in the snow and on the mountain. I'm so proud to be a mountain girl," she captioned one of them. Research has linked downhill skiing to a number of health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines.

Urvashi prioritizes flexibility – both mentally and physically."Be infinitely flexible and constantly amazed. Mental flexibility is even more important than physical flexibility. Stretch your mind today," she captioned an Instagram post.
